The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God's Revelation of Himself to man. It is a perfect treasure of divine Instruction.
There is one and only one living and true God. He is an intelligent, spiritual, and personal Being, the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe. God is infinite in holiness and all other perfections.
Jesus/Yeshua the Son: Christ is the eternal Son of God. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Jesus revealed and did the will of God, taking upon Himself human nature with its demands and necessities and identifying Himself completely with mankind yet without sin. He learned obedience through his suffering.
Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, fully divine. Through illumination, He enables men to understand truth. He exalts Christ. He convicts men of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. He calls men to the Saviour, and effects regeneration.
Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer. In its broadest sense salvation includes regeneration, justification, sanctification, and glorification. There is no salvation apart from personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord.
Election is the gracious purpose of God, according to which He regenerates, justifies, sanctifies, and glorifies sinners. It is consistent with the free agency of man and comprehends all the means in connection with the end.
The ekklesia and the household of faith are two groups of believers who congregate together. Ekklesia was used to describe elders who sat at the gates of their cities to deliberate concerning the judicial laws pertaining to the city they presided over, thus this is a group of matured leaders whom God has given charge over the spiritual climate of their city. This is not to be confused with the household of faith, which describes different households coming together to make up one bigger household, which represents the more traditional model of the local church.
There are 5 ministry gifts given by Jesus Christ to the church to help mature the body of Christ. These gifts are the apostle, prophet, teacher, evangelist, and pastor. These gifts were given to us by Jesus to help bring believers to natural and spiritual maturity to do the work of the ministry harvesting more souls for the Kingdom of God. The apostle, prophet, and teacher represent the eldership or governing body of the ekklesia and the household of faith. Jesus gave these gifts to mankind, and therefore they can be received and operated in by both men and women.
Healing and miracles must take place in every ministry. Healing and miracles along with deliverance are major signs that the kingdom of God is present. Every believer, especially leaders should demonstrate God’s healing and miracle-working power, and this was a part of the ministry of Jesus Christ. Casting out of demons is a part of our inheritances of believers in Jesus Christ as it was a part of His ministry. Jesus bestowed this ability on his disciples. As we are disciples of Jesus Christ and the disciples of those who follow Jesus Christ's operation in healings, miracles, and deliverance serve as additional proof of our status as believers in Jesus Christ and servants of God.
Sonship denotes maturity in scripture. We believe that every believer should seek to mature in their relationship with God. There is, however, a path to maturity called the process. A process is a series of actions or steps taken in order to achieve a particular end. We believe sonship is not obtained overnight. You must submit to character development and intense discipleship over a period of time in order for the fruit of maturity to manifest in your character and overall life.
God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society. It is composed of persons related to one another by marriage, blood, or adoption. Marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime. It is God's unique gift to reveal the union between Christ and His church and to provide for the man and the woman in marriage the framework for intimate companionship, the channel of sexual expression according to biblical standards, and the means for procreation of the human race.
The husband and wife are of equal worth before God, since both are created in God's image. The marriage relationship models the way God relates to His people. A husband is to love his wife as Christ loved the church. He has the God-given responsibility to provide for, protect, and lead his family. A wife is to submit herself graciously to the servant leadership of her husband in all things, even as the church willingly submits to the headship of Christ. She, being in the image of God as is her husband and thus equal to him, has the God-given responsibility to honor her husband and to serve as his helper in managing the household and nurturing the next generation.
Children, from the moment of conception, are a blessing and heritage from the Lord. Parents are to demonstrate to their children God's pattern for marriage. Parents are to teach their children spiritual and moral values and to lead them, through consistent lifestyle examples and loving discipline, to make choices based on biblical truth. Children are to honor and obey their parents.
